TBK Bank has sent a group of 12 team members to El Salvador with Living Water International each year since 2012. What started as a creative solution to team building, has become a long standing philanthropic partnership. With over 1,200 team members across 6 different states and 2 different time zones, it serves as an effective way for team members across Triumph to interact. More than an opportunity to build camaraderie among our team, our partnership with Living Water is all about Establishing Viable Communities. Living Water exists to bring clean drinking water to communities around the world that are currently without. Our team spends a week each year drilling for water in a remote area of El Salvador, while also teaching hygiene classes and Bible stories to the local children.
Did You Know?
- More than 840,000 people are estimated to die each year from unsafe-drinking water, poor sanitation and poor hand hygiene.

- On average, women and children around the world spend 200 million hours each day collecting water, oftentimes collecting water that is already contaminated.
- A community not having to worry about access to clean water gives them time to handle school, work, life, and health.
- Every dollar invested in safe water and sanitation yields $4 in health care savings, improved health, and time saved.
